Robbie Cozens, North Norfolk, England is looking for Timber Woods.

 

Additional Info: I realise that Timber was his nick name due to his surname. In 1972 while on my M B C Course at R A F Mount Batten Plymouth Devon I lent a novel called The Go-Between written by L.P. Hartley to a Cpl Fireman to read. Unfortunately I never had it given back to me. This might appear Trivial but the Book had the signatures of the Film Stars ( Julie Christie, Margaret Leighton, Alan Bates, Edward Fox, Richard Gibson who went on to play Heir Flick, to name a few) who were in the M G M Film of same name, I obtained them as it was Filmed here in Norfolk and I worked with them and am in the film with the Stars on one or two shots. If anyone knows the whereabouts of "Timber Woods" I would love to find him and with luck have the book back. Any One?

Additional info: Phil was a member of the LFB diving club about 30 years ago, that’s how we met I was a Manchester diver on Slapton beach in Devon we dived together all that holiday and became close.  Our families became close, he had 2 daughters and we had a son.  I know he got divorced and I think he moved to the south coast.  I would love to get together again.

Additional Info: I was a member of the brigade from 1967 - 1979. I served both North and South of the Thames as leading Fireman and acted up as J Div Staff  at Edmonton.I left the brigade after the strike and worked for BP at Sullom Voe in Shetland. After 4 years I worked in Saudia Arabia for 4 years as Fire Chief for Aramco. I now live in the United States and retired as Lockwood Fire Chief County Fire Chief for Yellowstone County Montana. I still check all the LFB runs etc. Alan
